| 2nd Division Nibantai Secret Mobile Corps/Corrections corps/Investigations (this is the general ability ranks)Taichou: Yamanda Shinrykan Fukutaichou: Kurosune 3rd Seat: 4th Seat: 5th Seat: Unseated: (The below is Wiki from sources in the Manga, i have chosen this due to the amount of people in the Division and its more faithful to the Manga.) Also called the Secret Mobile Unit/Corps or Covert Ops, the onmitsukidō. Has five divisions. The top rank is the Executive Militia Keigun, the second is the Patrol Corps, keiratai, the third (this is made up for the RP not from Manga) is the Noble guard, the fourth (this is for RP again) the Human World investigations, and the final fifth division is called the Reversal Correctional Force, riteitai. As invasive as the division sounds, Shinigami in the division are not open to discuss work matters. The members are taught the value of discretion, respect and privacy. As intricate and expansive the 2nd’s information network is, information does not float freely from their mouths. Strict training is preformed on the new Shinigami to keep loose tongues under strict control and discipline is a must. We do not want to break spirits but we will if we must or else get transferred. Upon acceptance into the Nibantai, you receive several things. Uniform: The general special forces uniform appears to be the standard shinigami uniform, the Executive Militia uniform is different from the Gotei 13 however. Overall, it resembles a ninja uniform. It has no visible white undergarments and the sash is dark as opposed to white. A headpiece covers the bottom part of the face and sometimes the top, but not the eyes; they wear no sandals, but only soft cloth shoes, and tight bands are on the legs and arms to keep the clothes from moving too much, which both are presumably for silence of movement. In the anime, members of the Executive Militia also wear their head covering on the top, not just the bottom and wear a black sash instead of a white one. The leader of the militia wears the same uniform, except that the shoulders and back are exposed. The reason for the empty space is the shunkō (flash cry) technique, an advanced technique that combines kidō and high spiritual pressure to accumulate at the shoulders and back, blasting away the fabric. The Correctional Force uniform is radically different. The soldiers wear a white uniform, a long piece of headgear, and a backpack. Accessories: A band with mark showing the 2nd’s mark and your rank, a custom bag for missions, and mandatory tools & weapons (wire, smoke bombs, hidden knives and the like). Regime| Spoiler: | | | Skills of 2nd Division:
2nd Division are expected to develop these skills through training and learning as they progress in the division.
1.) Shinobi-Iri (Stealth and Entering Methods)As Shinobi stealth techniques of silent movement, breaking and entering, and gaining access to inaccessible areas are mandatory and are the main aspect most shinigami think of when talking of the 2nd division. Also to this there are special walking and running methods for covering long distances, passing over floors silently, and for staying in the shadows while moving, in order to facilitate entry and escape.
2.) Sui-Ren (Water Training)Stealth swimming, silent movement through water, and underwater combat techniques.
3.) Bo-Ryaku (Strategy)Unconventional tactics of deception and battle, political plots, and advantageous timing for use of current events are always used, as a major tool by the central 46, 2nd division is expected to be able to maneuver and apply pressure where ordered. By employing or influencing seemingly outside forces to bring the enemy around to doing what the shinigami want them to do, this should be done without drawing undue attention to themselves.
4.) Cho Ho (Espionage)Methods of successful espionage are perfected. This included ways of locating and recruiting spies and serve as a guide for using espionage agents most effectively.
5.) Inton-Jutsu (Escape and Concealment)2nd are experienced masters in the ways of using nature and Reiatsu to cover their exit, allowing them to "dissapear" at will. There are many different styles of this that are also taught in stealth but further skills can be applied to this area.
6.) Ten-Mon (Meteorology) Forecasting and taking advantage of weather and seasonal phenomena is an important part of any battle consideration. 2nd are trained to observe all the subtle signals from the environment in order to predict weather conditions.
7.) Chi-Mon (Geography) Knowing and successfully using the features of the terrain are crucial skills for all 2nd members.

The Rules for Visitors: 1)No out door shoes in the private and training rooms. 2)You will need to fill in an entry form this is the normal basic details to show that you have been there and for what reason. 3.) Remember your manners. 4.) Respect everything. May it be a fight, a person, an object, everything is due for respect. 5.) Do not break the above rules. Remember that conversations, papers, rooms may contain or have secret information in. For this reason undue behavior will end with your dismissal at best at worst. punishments i will think of that will most likely involve brain washing and drugging until you forget what ever information you over heard.
The Rules for Nibantai Shinigami: 1.) Rules for Visitors #1-5 apply. 2.) Follow your orders unless a specific and unavoidable reason comes up. If so you must inform your ranking officer and give your reasons. 3.) 2nd are patient and smart. Never lose your cool and always remember your training, it is often better not to fight and gain knowledge than to rush in and get yourself killed. 4.) Shikai is permissable within the training areas under the division for training purposes only. |

| LAYOUT| Spoiler: | | | General Description of the Division from the out side:
2nd Division is situated amongst normal buildings masking it from general view. Surrounded by a high wall a large double door with the 2n'd division insignia on marks the entrance. Inside is a typical Japanese wooden bridge that arch's over a deep stream that circles the entire perimeter of the wall like a natural moat. On one side of the bridge if a small wooden building connected to the land with a water wheel that pushes the water around the flat stream.
The bridge then leads onto a stone pathway leading slightly upward through an area of bamboo again circling the area next to the stream taking about two minutes to pass though. Having passed through the bamboo the area opens up to the top of the hill. A cleared field with four small buildings and small stream running through connected to the main one at the west side running to the east side. The entire area is circled by the tall bamboo giving it a green ting as the sun filters through the leaves unless it is directly above.
In the very center is the largest building raised slightly above the others it is tall and grey with no distinguishing features windows evenly cover it on each floor reaching two stories higher than the bamboo.
Smaller Buildings:
Goods Warehouse: This is one of the larger of the small buildings situated next to the largest in the middle. You need another set of clothes? Some more wire, ointment, shoes? Collect them here them here. Located near storage.
Water Training area: This small building sits over part of the stream running over the hill pushed by the water wheel. Inside the water is gathered into several wider and deeper streams with wheels pushing it through. These deep pools are used for water training ranging from the longest but shallowest for water running to deep wide pools for swimming or breath holding.
Botanical Garden: This building has a glass roof and is filled with rack and plots of plants. Some areas with in are sealed in separate glass rooms because of their poisonous or harmful qualities.
Open Building: Situated next to the bamboo forest on the south side of the main building this part Dojo part meeting place has no sides and is simply a raised floor with wooden pillars holding up a large over hanging wooden roof. This area is used for taught lessons and shade when doing outside training in the bamboo forest or the cleared areas. It also often acts as a meeting place for Shinigami who have been sparing together or are going to spar to sit and talk as well as take cover in the shade it gives.
Central Building: This building whilst shaped and pained on the outside like a Shogun officials castle on the inside it is dominantly white, white walls, chairs, desks, etc.
Reception: A central desk almost as wide as the room sits facing the main entrance doors at the back of the room. There are several doors on either side that lead to small rooms where people from other divisions can meet with members of 2nd before going in. The desk has two gates as tall as the room either side that join the walls stopping people from passing into 2nd without signing in or having permission. Guards stand either side of the gates just in case... If you want to get into 2nd you will need a pass from a member to access otherwise closed areas or a pass from reception granting you very basic access unless it has been other wise stated to the receptionist (there are four at the desk spread around it so that there is minimum ques.) Above the desk is a 2nd division quote,
"In conflict, straightforward actions generally lead to engagement, surprising actions generally lead to victory.”
Kitchen + Dining Hall: This is one of the largest rooms in the grey building consisting of a large food court and enough seating and tables for every shinigami in the division.Shinigami are allowed to prepare their own meals in the kitchen. There are also pre-made foods ready for you to choose from each day and at each time of day for breakfast, lunch and dinner open 24hrs. (never know when a person will come back from a mission.)
Training Floors: All training rooms are closed to none 2nd shinigami below the first floor.
These are situated below ground floor each level is divided into separate rooms. The First floor is for general training, each room is equipped with training versions of weapons as well as numerous training implements ranging from punch bags to moving dummies. Each room can be locked from the inside in case a shinigami wishes to train without disruption.
The second floor is divided into several larger but fewer rooms, each room is different and has a different aspect of training. The first room has a floor made up of deep sand, training here can consist of fighting on sinking and soft ground to movement without tracks. Or anything else you can think of that could be trained here. The second room is made up of randomly angled and placed poles leading from one side to the opposite side in that ever direction they take whether it is diagonally from ceiling to floor or from a wall to the floor. This can be used for movement training as well as fighting in confined spaces... or anything else your mind can think of. The third room consists of a large slabbed floor. The large slabs on activation move randomly above and below ground level, some coming so close to the ceiling that if the person is not fast enough to lie down they could be knocked out... or worse. The last and forth room consists of all walls and floor covered in round holes. On activation multiple poles without padding on the end protrude from the walls and floor at random lengths and numbers. This can be used for reaction training as well as movement and any thing else you can dream up.
The third and final floor is called the war room. It takes the equivalent of two flights to reach this room. Inside is a make shift village, commonly this is used to test and train 2nd division members and is rarely used unless two shinigami want to practice fighting in that sort of area. Mostly only groups use it to create mock battles or if the captain sees fit he/she will gather a number of the 2nd to the room and recreate a mission that the person being tested must pass. This is normally for promotional reasons to show the members diversity and ability to outwit the members there showing that he is above them in skill.
Lounge and private rooms: Located through the upper levels of the building, mostly to have people wait or shinigami to gather or group for missions or to meet other shinigami from outside the division if they are allowed as well as small rooms at the entrance.
Dormitories: Includes showers, closets and a desk. Three to a room, shower and closet. Room mates are debatable and respect for people's things shall be respected, as well as their personal space. These are also above ground closer to the exit so that if attacked the members can be at their posts faster.
Unknown Underground Rooms: These are below the training rooms accessed through a secret passage in the 3rd floor training room. Different and unconnected rooms to those previously mentioned. Many rumors speculate that these are rooms for torture and hold the many volts to secrets about the noble houses and their relics past and present. No one knows definitively outside of 2nd. If Hara doesn't break you... you'll wish he had! A lone door lies at the very darkest and furthest point of the tunnels. The door of warrior spirit, no one but Nicho himself knows what lies beyond this door, artwork of two swords clashing together, one engulfed in yellow the other slightly gray/white sits black into the surface of the pure white door, a door of Reiatsu, that those of only Taichou level and strong Reiatsu can break beyond.
Library: Take a guess. Mostly on things related to 2nd division and training as well as history, past non-classified missions and even a section for leisure reading, again above ground.
Fukutaichou's and Seated Officer's Office: Sound-Proof. Next to the Taichou's office. For obvious reasons, even bigger then the Taichou's room. The room is furnished in whatever the officer's tastes are and just like the Taichou's office, nothing will be left open to prying eyes while there are no authorized people in the room. (appointments must be made by none 2nd division to access this area... You will be stopped if you aren't)
Taichou's Office: Sound-Proof. Private conferences can be held in this spacious room, decorated with simple white woods in a basic Japanese style nothing here gives away personal taste or want (except maybe they like white.) While the Taichou's private office, there is not one piece of information that would be interesting laying around, all papers are in locked Reiatsu hardened cabinets that blend into the wood walls making them invisible to the naked eye, only the Taichou's Reiatsu signature will open them. (How they know which is which... well thats a secret.)
Fukutaichou's and Seated Officer's Sleeping Quarters: The seated members rooms are all separate with on suite bathrooms. There are the necessaries shelves, desk, cabinet, bed, etc. The rooms are surrounded in white wood but the officers can do what they like as that will be their room from now on no matter what rank. The Fukutaichou's room is exactly the same as the rest but situated closest to the Taichou's room.
Taichou's Sleeping Quarters: Situated near to the seated officers, the inside is exactly the same as theirs, all 2nd seated are equal. Those who are not given permission to enter will be viewed initially as an enemy. Bare in mind that it is unlikely that the head of an assassin division sleeps much, this may also be true of all members. Missions can last days and nights, so look else where for him/her... although if your not in 2nd its very unlikely you even get this close.

Nibantai Shinigami patrol the grounds regularly in groups of three and guard the gates as well as entrances to certain areas including the training areas, library, sleeping areas, offices and other such important areas mentioned above. You will need a permission slip or your 2nd insignia to pass by them.
As decreed by the 1st Division:Shikai is only permissible if a Taichou and/or Fukutaichou permits it and/or the need genuinely calls for it. If Shikai is used without permission, it will be debated by the Taichou of the 6th Division and the Taichou of the offending Shinigami's Division on whether it was for an acceptable reason. Bankai is only acceptable by Taichous or Fukutaichous within their respective Division's training grounds. Otherwise, it is completely banned within the whole of Soul Society and beyond unless the 1st Division Taichou decrees a War-Time Order. |
